Section 1

Abbreviation and Commencement

(1) This Act may be called “Animal Slaughterhouses and Meat Inspection Act, 2055”.
(2) This Act shall come into effect from the date specified by the Government of Nepal in the designated area by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
